REVEAL THE DEPTHS OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM AND THE WONDERS OF NATURE.
Telescope is an instrument that aids in the observation of remote objects by collecting visible light. The first known practical telescopes were invented in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 17th century, using glass lenses. They found use in terrestrial applications and astronomy.
Overview:
Sharp image optics for land observing.
Quick and easy no tool set up, perfect for beginners
Fully coated glass optics with high transmission coatings for enhanced image brightness, contrast and clarity
2x Barlow Lens which doubles the magnifying power of each eyepiece.
The SkyX First light Edition astronomy software/ CD.
Description:
Amateur astronomy is a great family hobby that can be enjoyed year round, and Celestron’s PowerSeekers are the ideal choice for families looking for an affordable and high quality telescope that will provide many hours of enjoyment for children and adults alike.
The PowerSeeker series is designed to give the first-time telescope user the perfect combination of quality, value, features and power. The model feature sharp image optics for astronomical and land viewing.

Astronomy Basics:
To understand the telescope more thoroughly one needs to know a little about the night sky.
1. The celestial coordination system.
· It has poles, lines of longitude and latitude and an equator.
· The system is similar to our geographical coordination system on earth.
2. Motion of the stars.
· All stars appear to rotate around the celestial poles. However, the appearance of the motion varies depending on where you are looking to the sky.
· The earth’s rotation.
